THE UNSEEN DESTRUCTIVE DISEASE OF A GENERATION

MY HUMBLE REQUEST:

y family is incomplete without her. A woman is precious and so powerful. There is nothing on earth that can stop the power of a focused and determined woman. And so I wonder what LIFE itself would have looked like without a WOMAN in it.

But how come a lot of men treat this same women without any regard?
What really went wrong, where did the women miss it?
What should we expect from the younger generation of our women?

MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE:
Just a few months ago, on a Sunday morning as I was having my bath upstairs in preparation for church service, unknown to me a young girl of about 18 years of age was downstairs and seriously starring at me having my bath through the faulty bathroom window. Immediately my eyes went towards her direction, I noticed what she was doing and decided to caution her, and guess what?
She seductively snapped her right side eye at me and whispered "how far" to me. I was short of words and had to shout at her to leave.

Few minutes later while in my room I heard a knock on my door, I opened and it was her I saw. And she said exactly this same words to me but in Yoruba language: why are you scared of me because I was starring at you bathing? Well, I just came to tell you privately that you can have me if you want to and I won't tell anybody. And when she saw I was looking so disappointed in her, she said please, all I want is just some money to buy a new browsing phone and if you don't mind, we can make love while you give me whatever you have and I will go add it to the one I already have pending till the money is complete. And I broke down in tears while she just quietly walked away.

I was weeping for her wild ignorance and the rate at which she was so ready to trade her body for perishable things (money and phone) without even seeing anything bad in what she was doing. And I wonder how many men she might have already slept with or would still offer her body to just because of a mere phone.
Of course I later called her, sat her down and made her understand things better and clearer by God's grace. But all she wanted was a browsing phone, and I can assure you that she's gotten one now.

To every parent reading this out there, sir, ma, are you still by chance wondering why there are so many fast and negative changes amongst our young ones? Have you ever wondered why heartbreaks is on the high side in the lives and relationships of our younger ones?

Well, just open an average young lady's profile on Facebook right now, click on her photos or wall timeline,  browse through them and tell me what you see. Try checking on them once in a while and see who they are hanging out with and calling their friends. Visit some clubs, youths house or birthday parties both indoors and or at the beach and see how much they have lost their true values and sense of pride.
Young girls who should still be under home training, taking candid advice from their parents that will help sharpen their future into something good, or be in school reading their books and focusing on their educational career are now proudly, loudly, egoistically, shamelessly and uncontrollably partying all over the places, clubbing, posting pictures of boyfriends on social media platforms, calling them boo and whatsoever it is, and while some are so busy prostituting without shame. And we see nothing wrong with this?

Check who the small boys they are blindly following really are, they are mostly this yahoo boys who goes about causing innocent people tears, destroying innocent people's homes and businesses, forcefully taking what belongs to them just to live a wasteful large life and impress people - girls.
We need to teach our young women especially how to be more careful, responsible and accountable for their choices and actions. Dear young lady, all man has to offer you is but pleasure and nothing more, money, food, clothe, phone, jewelry, clubbing, sex and the rest. Watch carefully, they will give you everything but not one thing, GOD. Any man who doesn't introduce you to God and or bring you closer to God doesn't love you my dear. Relationship is not about always feeling better and comfortable, sometimes you have to feel bitter and uncomfortable too so that the result and testimonies of your future (marriage) can be complete.

Young lady, you are so busy showing off to the world a boyfriend who has no future for you as if he's your husband and yet you aren't even engaged. And am sure he probably doesn't even know who your parents are or the kind of background you're from. And unfortunately, we have some parents and guardians who deliberately encourages their daughters to be involved in the act of following men and bringing home clothes, phones, expensive jewelries and so on all in the name of not wanting to go hungry. You are not doing her any good, you're simply just destroying her and your very own future which is her. You don't build your house on sand but a solid foundation.

I was so shocked the other day when I saw a post from a small girl on Facebook, so happily and "shamelessly" celebrating a stupid five(5) years of "DATING" anniversary with his boyfriend, with loads of crazy pictures of them together. What a shame!
I never knew what they now celebrate is "DATING" anniversary and not the normal "WEDDING" anniversary anymore. I guess am no longer as current as I should be.
And if by tomorrow he jilted you, break your careless heart and walk away, you will dare call him heartless or wicked? No sweetheart, you were the senseless one.
Self control is for all but only a very few has it.

Sir, ma, if we don't begin right now to constantly teach and caution this set of young boys and girls coming up now, am afraid very soon marriage might lose its value, respect and purpose before them. We need to let them understand that a very ugly woman(if there's any) but with a price and pride (responsible), is FAR more better than a very beautiful woman without a price and pride (irresponsible). The beauty of any woman is her ability to be focused, determined and responsible.

Another small girl whom am aware is just seventeen(17) years old was publicly dressing almost completely naked on Facebook, and when people were condemning her dress sense, she claimed that her boyfriend of over two(2) years of dating said he likes it that way and so encourages her to do it more for him. A man you're not married to has succeeded in dictating how you should live your life, destroying your life publicly, and when it's time for him to get married, the same guy quickly dumps you like a used rack and goes looking for the best and responsible woman for marriage. Because no man in his right senses wants an irresponsible woman for a wife and not to talk of raising his kids. Whose loss is that? Yours of course. Don't spend your time trying to please a man, what you need is God and not man.

And you're also wondering why one very silly guy would hang dog chains on ladies necks and start to pull them around the whole place, using them like a bin publicly? Yes, it is obvious that was the height of the guys act of immaturity, irresponsibility, and lack of value and respect for the woman gender. But, doesn't that also suggest to you that some of our younger ones (especially the girls) have lost their focus and determination, sense of reasoning, respect and pride? Doesn't that suggest to you that they have chosen money, material things and flesh above their lives and who they really are?
Young lady, don't make the mistake of wasting your precious time on a man who certainly do not have the powers to give you back your wasted time. The best of man is man!

Use your now to build your future, be committed to growing and becoming the pride of other women in a legit and responsible way. Let your standard be God and not man. A man is ready to destroy your life for your lack of knowledge but will do everything possible to ensure his own is adequately protected. If you don't know, you are fully responsible for whatever becomes of your life, because no man can destroy your life without your consent.

I once predicted to a dear friend of mine many years ago that one day is coming when marriage will no longer make any sense to our young ones. A time when contract marriages will be the order of the day. That was as a result of the unexpected corrupt and radical change in our youths in terms of love, relationship and dating.
Wherever and whenever knowledge is missing, destruction is inevitable. God forbid!
But it is too late to cry when the head is off.

Parent, I hope you are parenting your children like God really wants you to?
Guardian, I hope you are teaching them the ways of the Lord and discouraging them from following the ways of the world?

Wisdom is crying so loud but no one is listening nor going to it. We are talking about the future of our own leaders of tomorrow so I cannot afford to joke with it. It gives me so much headache, worry and concern knowing and seeing all sorts of classical abnormal things taking place right under our watch and we're just there doing nothing to make changes. I have made up my mind never to stop talking because am an agent of positive change.

But haven said all that, we all have a role to play. You too can decide to make a positive move right now, or you might as well just chose to remain silent about it.
